I am so grateful for the cooler weather we've been having so far in October, and I am still so happy to be seeing students in person! Check out some reminders (mostly review) and updates about what we are learning below!
As a reminder, students are still expected to check the 6th grade website every day that they are remote (Silver = Mon/Tues/Wed, Blue = Thurs/Fri/Mon). Grades are also up to date, with students also receiving emails if they have missing work. It is harder to keep track of work while going back and forth on in person and remote days, so it's especially important that students are checking emails, Skyward/Q, the website, and folders to make sure they are getting credit for all of their work! All work must be turned in during the next week to get credit! The end of the quarter is Fri, Oct 16!! In math this week, we are reviewing our types of numbers and completing our prime factorization work. Feel free to ask your student about prime numbers! Their work on their upcoming remote days will be a Chapter 1 review packet and late work. In science, students should be finishing their boat building assignment either this week or next (blue = Thurs, silver = Tues). Science is only taking place on remote days for now, but students are still working hard and sharing their designs with their classmates via technology! General Updates:
Upcoming Dates:
Have a fantastic week and a wonderful long weekend! Reach out to any of the teachers if you have questions! Ms Kennell
