Though not as crazy as last week, this week will be busy! We will be finishing some units this week, with our PBIS 4th quarter incentive ending our week. For students who have had two or less detentions, no suspensions, and no Saturday school in Quarter 4, there will be an inflatables and popsicle celebration Friday afternoon!
In math this week, we are finishing our last lesson for the unit (Lesson 7.3.4 - Writing Algebraic Equations and Inequalities, homework assignment on Tuesday) and reviewing for our FINAL math test! This test will be over reading graphs, expressions, equations, and inequalities, and will take place on Thursday/Friday this week. Wednesday we will be doing some review, and all graded papers should be back to the students by then. Next week, we will be working on a geometry activity to finish out math for the year. In social studies, my homeroom will be working on a map of the United States for our final map, as well as finishing our Hinduism unit. Students will have a test over Hinduism on Friday, with a final map quiz the following Friday. We will then be spending some time in Medieval Europe to end our last week of social studies. In spelling, my homeroom is working on their tic tac toe boards for their final spelling list. Group F has their test and boards due this Friday, with the other groups finishing next week. Students may need to work on finishing their activities at home if they are struggling to finish them during our spelling block. Upcoming dates:
